The Met Gala – Our Best Dressed

14

Last night was one of the biggest fashion events of the year, everyone thinks it’s the Oscar’s but in reality its the Met Ball that the A List want to win best dressed at! At £20,000 per ticket it’s still one of the hardest parties to get in to – but all our favourite celebrities flocked to the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art and we couldn’t wait to see what they would be wearing. This years theme was “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology” – this made way for some interesting choices, we’re looking at you Nicki Minaj and Madonna (cringe).  It also made way for some amazing choices…  So we’ve rounded up the fiercest looks from last nights gala just for you…

Balmain ruled the red carpet last night, from Cindy Crawford to Kim Kardashian the #BalmainArmy was definitely out in force. It was Kylie’s first appearance at the Met Gala and she started it off in seriously sassy style. This custom made dress contoured her famous curves to perfection – and her blunt bob and nude lip made this look killer!

Lupita The Oscar winning actress is giving us total mermaid vibes in the green sequin maxi. Although we wouldn’t attempt the Marge Simpson hair style on ourselves – she rocked it. You can steal her look with our goddess worthy maxi HERE

Our second fave from the #BalmainArmy – let’s face it, anything looks amazing on Joan Smalls… but this beaut Balmain dress is on another level. Her hair looked fierce in a sleek back pony to show off the bustier and choker detailing of the dress – which is so on trend!

Karolina is giving us total swan princess vibes in this amazing floral detail gown. I think we would pretty much never take this dress off.
